Elgin Syferd grew to become the largest independent marketing communications agency in the Pacific Northwest, eventually selling to DDB Needham, a division of Omnicom a NYSE company. He managed the media and public relations groups and day-to-day operations, as well as Elgin Syferd Drake in Boise, Idaho which the company purchased. After the sale of Elgin Syferd, Dave helped spearhead Seattle’s bid for the 2012 summer Olympic Games, served as interim CEO and Vice Chariman of Bob Walsh Enterprises conducting business in Russia and the Republic of Georgia.
